Would it be uncouth to ask how much you paid for shipping?

katar,

Are the sight tools the plastic kind with a brass insert? if so, I have already broken 2 of them adjusting front sights. The brass insert will begin to spin around. Of course these AK's here are a little beat and have to be lubed good first before adjusting. I have used the ruptured case extractors and they work good.

AFAIK the TAPCO's are very solid tools. It's funny you ask, because Templar broke two of his (unsure if they were TAPCO) trying to adjust a guy's sight at the recent AK class. I have a B-SQUARE sight tool that I offered but we never did try it.

The ones I got were made by TAPCO and purchased through Brownells. They are OD green and and lool like a ping-pong paddle. They crapped out pretty fast. Any of the steel ones work pretty good.

The B-Square tool set works very well, but is slower to use and has multiple parts to keep track of. The TAPCO steel C-Clamp type tool is simpler and faster to use, but may not fit all types of FSBs (IME, it wouldn't work on a Krink or AK-105 combo unit). I have both types in the toolbox.
