I hope the employees are doing alright, and I do hope their policy changes.

But, BBQ pit with a "No Guns" policy? Really?!

In this state, "these premises ban guns" signs don't have the force of law. I generally opt for self-protection and ignore such signs.

That area of Durham has the highest crime in the city. Even so, this is a liberal town (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill is a dem-heavy, liberal area and not representative of the "real" south), so most places have signs that ban firearms. Adding to the irony is Gabby Giffords has eaten there.

I note that as the pig shop is anti-2A, and she is anti-2A, both having been subjected to gun-related crime. That's all.
