Its a military surplus slightly used. The seller states its a Surefire Milenium KX3 mounted with a M93. I just want to make sure I'm not getting ripped off as I know the guy personally. I tried doing some research but prices are all over the place. Also, could this be a fake?

To me it looks real, but it is a big light. Do you want/need that type of light? I'm sorry I don't know what it's worth used, 50% of retail maybe.

75 bucks.

There are a ton of surplus lights for sale right now.

Not the latest and greatest, but tough and working.

Maybe pay 50 bucks base for any 51/2 or 61/2 light.
Add 25 for a pressure switch if you use one. 25 for an IR filter.

Earlier Scouts maybe 100 bucks base also available.

The earlier lights are tough,
but heavier, take up more space, and not as bright as more modern/expensive options.

If you have one or two carbines where nothing but the newest and best will do, I would skip this light.

If you have a bunch more guns to outfit,
and not every single one is going to get a 600$ Micro and 300$ light,
you will be hard pressed to find tougher in the 50$ range.

That models sells for between 125-175 depending on the condition of it. It has the newest quick turn led/it head.
