The nation which forgets its defenders will be itself forgotten.

Ron White honors our fallen heroes by writing the names of the fallen from Afghanistan - more than 2,200 names - on a wall...from memory. He travels the country with a 52-ft wall, writing the names to honor them so they will never be forgotten. It is a 100% non-profit project and currently, 150 more men and women have died and Ron needs to buy more panels to add to the wall so he can honor them as well.

A veteran of the war in Afghanistan, Ron White, is honoring the fallen heroes from Afghanistan by traveling the USA writing their names out from memory to say, ‘You are not forgotten.’ It took Ron 10 months to memorize the 2,300 heroes. He memorized their rank, first name and last name. That is over 7,000 words. He then writes these names out from memory. It takes 11 hours to write the names each time.

I've seen this guy on the news a few times, and would like to share this with those who have not heard of Mr. White's efforts. Even though our fallen heroes should not be honored just one day a year, we are on the eve of Memorial Day. For those of you who have or are serving, I thank you. God bless those men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
