Last year I bought a F-1 Master Chrony to check my reloads. I just couldn't easily find actual REAL results for most anything factory or reloaded. The bloated numbers that are listed by most manufacturers are unhelpful to say the least. I'm going to start off small, today was my first test and use of the Chrony. I will only be doing 5 shot strings (sorry guys but ammo is damn expensive and some calibers are hard to find). I will list errors (as in a shot didn't register and the chronograph read "err") as this will be somewhat of a review of the F-1 Master Chrony. I won't list Standard Deviation, High and Low Velocity, and Extreme Spread as they can be figured out by the individual that needs them.

The ammo will never be sat in the sun. It will be removed from climate control set at 75 degrees F. The temp will always be listed. I hope this helps out guys who don't have a chrono or just are looking for true results. I will add an update post when I get new numbers but I will post results (edit) in this first post to keep it all in one place. I will also start off with cheaper centerfire ammo and move up. All numbers are in FPS. Well here goes guys!

thanks for posting that info.
manufacturer claims are for the most part using the longest barrel possible under ideal conditions.
the 22lr velocities are interesting.

Mastiffhound, if you want to conserve your ammo, get the led lighting screens for your chrony, [that's if you are getting a lot of err's]. the range I shoot at has a covered apron in front of the shooting positions, and I really had a hard time getting readings at all much less accurate ones. After I got the lighted screens my missed shots dropped to virtually zero and the ES and SD for ammo I had run across the chrony dropped drastically. also now my velocity readings compare with a fellow shooter who uses a Ohler with the double screens. Got mine from midway when they had a sale on them, was something like $80.00

Thanks for the info! Esp the 22lr, helps out in selecting ammo for suppressor.
