Does anyone use aluminum magazine basepads on a Glock? Do you have any pictures? I'm specifically thinking of putting the Lightning Strike model on my G21.

Why would anyone do that?

Years ago I had some brass ones. They gave extra weight on the mag so they came out faster--that is not to suggest that they don't come out, they come out fast enough. I forget where I got them, who made them and what happened to them.

I really don't see a need for them.

Don't know if this is what you're looking for or not. I use these for USPSA Limited class. Machined aluminum, no tools required. I've been using different models for Para P16, STI and Glock for years. Very durable, but they are for competition.

Dawson makes excellent stuff, if you weant more mag capacity, they are a great choice.
