Victory First Carbine Workshop

Echo Valley Training Center (Just outside of Winchester, VA)
This workshop is going to QUICKLY cover basic aspects of carbine / AR platform maintenance and operation.
Course can be run concealed or with exposed kit. ( concealed handgun preferred )
Capability to hold 1 spare magazines on the body required.
Since this is a “Beyond Basics” workshop, I expect all students to have a fundamental knowledge of their kit, and have at least a rough zero on their rifle.
**We will run 2 five shot confirmation strings and will make follow on DOPE changes during the drills. This class is a quick pace and I will not hold up the rest of the class on multiple ZERO attempts.**

- Safety
- Zeroing (Irons / BUIS and optics) –
- Fundamentals (BRIEF overview)
- Presentations
- Reloads: Combat and Tactical
- Clearing malfunctions
- Multiple threats / threat selection
- Movement while shooting
- Magazine management
Required Kit:
- Wrap around Eye Protection
- Ear protection (electronic preferred)
- Baseball style hat
- Range food / WATER
- Seasonal weather gear / rain gear
- Rifle sling, must be able to allow rifle to hang.
- Ability to retain 1 magazines on your body (you can run it from your back pocket if you wish, how WILL you end up carrying it?)
- 4 magazines MINIMUM
- 500 rounds of factory ammunition
- Cleaning kit / lubrication
Rifles are available for rental / T&E for this class
