i'm planning to put my 700 PSS action into an AICS 1.5 stock, but what else do i need to do to make this work?
Do i need a different bottom metal setup or does that come with the stock?
thanks,
Kent
To my knowledge, the AIC chassis comes with everything you need. You might have to add a bipod adapter unless they started including that.

My AICS that is new and still sitting empty has the bipod adapter on it already.

To properly install it you will need a Torque Wrench.
Make sure you know the difference between S/A & L/A.

thanks for the help guys. i was really just worried about the bottom metal.
my 308 is going into this. my 300WM PSS is staying in it's current stock. that one is getting too expensive to shoot.
You will need a long (I think 6") Allen key. You can get what you need from Sears!
Remember to keep checking torque on it the first few rounds. there should be included instructions as to the proper round count and retorqing procedures.
+1 on the long allen wrench; the screws that you will need to reach are recessed up into the aics frame. i found mine thru an internet search on egay.

ok, the stock just arrived and it seems that my rings are too low. what height rings are you guys using on your AICS weapons?
Ring height depends entirely on your scope...

yeah, i just took the whole action, scope included, out of my PSS stock and bolted it into the AICS and the scope is too low. i was wondering if you guys went to the med or high rings when converting to this stock.
i think i need to go to high rings.
