I started back into reloading about two months ago after a 40 year pause. I got alot of help with my equipment and process decisions from you guys as well as some others on a couple other forums.

I am now reloading .38 special, .45 ACP, 30-30, 30-40, .308, .300 Savage, .223, .303 Brit., 6.5 Swede, and .30-06. In the future I will probably reload 9mm Luger and 7.63 Mauser pistol.

Here are some photos of my set up and the bench that I built:

Looks great.

I just went and bought a metal workbench with the wood top at SEARs. I think Dillon was selling some put together yourself wood reloading bench for some outrageous price.

My craftsman unit was a great value, but it doesn't have the benchtop shelving like you made.

Is that bench bolted to the floor?

How is the craftsman? I plan to get that as well for my reloading bench?

No, it's not bolted to the floor. It is very solid and stable as it is. I built to be heavy and took pains to make it very square and plumb.

Great! Cheap and easy. Load the drawers down with your reloading stuff and it's plenty solid. I use the Dillon strong mount on top of the bench.

Thanks! I plan on getting the 550 with the strong mount as well.

I've been using this bench for the past 25 years, although it's become more crowed as the years have gone by.

Do you have a Pic of your Sear's bench? I have to move out of my "Man Cave" due to a divorce and need something smaller for my apartment. How much was it?

Thanks!

I'll try to get one tonight.

Damn it! Now I have to unclutter it so I don't look like a slob!

I can't remember the price - it's been so long now.

Nevermind. I went to their website and saw the options. I think I'm just going to cut mine down a bit for apartment use. It's very strong. Built on 4x4 legs, 2x4's, 2"x12" lower shelves, and a 1 1/2" solid core door top. I got it in here in pieces (from my old house), I can get it out.

Thanks for the offer!

No sweat. I was looking for an excuse to get a pic of all the primed brass I have bagged up though. Maybe I'll take a pic anyway! :p

Welcome back 97th... bench looks good.

I like seeing pics because I get ideas for my own bench - there are some real creative people out there - my bench used to be my workbench home built til along came the Rockchucker and Dillon 550 -

My bench is not in this - but there are some amazing setups in this thread of pictures if anyone wants to look:

You guys must have a lot more free time than I do.
That bench is beautiful.
I just picked up a piece of laminated counter top and a couple of kitchen cabinets, screwed them together and bolted them to the wall.
Quick, cheap and I was finished in less then an hour. Very solid.
