Interesting way of doing a time lapse look at some neighborhoods in Detroit. Someone did the street view maps of Google and Bing over several years and shows the way property deteriorates relatively quickly.

Give it another hundred years, and it might develop some curb appeal.

That is truly fascinating to me for some reason. Much like the way Chernobyl has been repopulated by nature. Just something about it that I find interesting. I keep scroll up and down and you can just see the way things change. At least it looks like they are getting more green space.

Can't help but wonder. Wonder how many of those houses have bodies in them? Is that too macabre?

We're having the same thought WRT nature and the bodies.

There have been a lot of Google Street View bloopers:

My favorite was the guy in Detroit pointing a gun at the camera...

Another example of the success of corrupt liberalism. And yes... blame the republicans.

I've got little sympathy; they did this to themselves with the people they elected. This is your future of progressive socialism...

Some of my childhood time was spent in Detroit. I remember it as a thriving community at the time. It is so sad to see the decay of this once proud city. A couple of years ago I looked up some photos of Cooper elementary school where I had attended. They had closed the school and then scavengers moved in and took out all the metal, wiring, etc. Then they leveled the remains and turned the site into a field. What a waste. How can anyone not see the failures of liberal policies?

Perfect sets for Walking Dead or another post apocalyptic show

I probably should be ashamed of myself for not having seen it.

Detroit is exactly what most of America will look like after 8 years of Hillary.

...count on it.
