I have done a search but I cannot find what I am looking for.

I am in the process of assembling my first AR with virgin parts and I am going to do a Cerakote job on it.

The big question is, should I paint the inside of the upper?

(I am using the H line, the air dry version)
I am thinking no but then again I could go back and put some micro-slick over the Cerakote.

I have done some work with duracoat on some various items and a AR lower and I have had great results so far.

Fire away.

Don't. Serves no purpose to do so. Microslick is another story.

Cerakote on the inside of an upper is a waste of time. It will wear away relatively quickly, and the anodizing is by far a longer wearing finish.
