Agree. 40-50 residents in this neighborhood and we choose to let rounds fly down range at a fleeing car. He said he hit 8 times. How many misses??? Not a smart choice.

Rather pointless to MMQ this guy without more information. It's one thing to empty a mag into a car in your driveway with a guy pointing a gun at you. It's quite another to stand in the middle of the road and spray bullets down the street as the vehicle speeds away.

Perfect example IMHO people do dumb things on both sides

Link in article did not work ? Says country road where those 40-50 people lived did he endanger anyone ? With such bad journalism hard to say if he was being unsafe or not
Flat out not enough facts ?

Read the article. He challenged the suspects with his gun and they responded by brandishing their own gun(s). Hence the stand-off - two sides, ready for gunplay. Fortunately, our hero was able to bravely run away, find cover, and wait until the suspects were driving away before firing his weapon in defense of his life.
