Anyone have experience with these. How do they compare to the real deal or even say the Vltor?

I have one on a carbine, well made, battery storage and a good cheek weld if that's important to you. not as chic as Vltor, but just as functional.

The Choate stock is (imho) a little "chunky"... but has a decent feel. It is on the heavy end of the available stocks, but the deal breaker for me is that they use a proprietary buffer tube -- see this thread (https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=101), I try to stick with MilSpec parts as it allows more freedom and parts selection.

K.L.,

According to Choates web site they are now selling a version for the mil-spec sized receiver extensions.

I don't have but certainly looks good to go from the few reviews I read about it on the other site...
