What would be the parts most likely to break (excluding the barrel) on a Remington 1100 autoloader shotgun? I'm making a list of what I would need if I needed a part in the field.

Rings, always have rings!

I used the 1100 when I competed in International Skeet many years ago. Averaged about 15,000 rounds a year for over five years, albeit they were target loads. I would change out the barrel seal twice a year, and the piston/seal assembly once each year. The only parts that ever broke was the "link" and a cracked "forend support". That happened at the 30,000 round mark. So I changed those out each year. For "field" use, you probably only need a few barrel seals, one piston/piston seal assembly, with the link and forend support being optional. Not one instance of a problem with the bolt, extractor, firing pin or trigger plate assembly.

Aside from gun specific parts like piston seals or o-rings I like to have a spare firing pin and extractor for most all the guns I own.

Spare springs can come in handy too.
