Magpul equipped Colt 6920?

Locally, all of the Magpul equiped Colt 6920's have had their prices dropped to $880. Granted, only at my favorite gun shop, but is anyone else seeing similar pricing changes? I have to wonder if it isn't because Magpul needs to clear their inventory for the things they plan on bringing to the market next, though that seems an unlikely reason for a $100+ price change.
