I kept mine stock.
Add a good sling and you'll be fine.

*pic deleted* They all look the same.

Not mine: (but one of my favorites) What I want to eventually add to the collection

Mine, the top one is a Superior Arms lower and a Del-ton upper. It is my budget build, all together I'm around $590-620ish in the AR and that includes shipping.

The lower AR I'm not sure, but I'd love to know the specs. I found the picture last year on Afcom and I think Ive seen it on here before too. Someone who surfs the forum will claim it eventually.

Well other than not knowing the manufacture of the upper/lower, which shouldn't matter if; you want to build a quality clone of it there's plenty of info on this site as to which parts are best...otherwise we've got a a Matech BUIS, an Aimpiont in Larue mount, KAC M5 RIS/RAS with KAC rail covers, some brand of 3 point sling, and a Gemech can

The sling looks like a Specter Gear to me.

Everyone should have to cut his teeth on a KISS AR with iron sights.

If I were to make any improvements it might be along the lines of the old Colt ACR (google it). Add a KAC M5 rail and an M4 stock (or the Magpul UBR). For sights I would use the LMT fixed rear.
