Polishing M&P internals?

So I here mention about polishing the internals on M&P pistols and am wondering what this intails?

I actually just did mine. I got an Apex FSS kit and decided to try this since I would have the parts out anyways. I used some Flitz polish and the buffer on a dremel. I polished the sear, striker block, the trigger bar loop, and the striker. If you google "burwell guns trigger job" there's a PDF file with some good info. I've never taken my m&p apart like this or polished any internals before and I thought it was pretty easy. Good luck.

Replace parts with APEX parts then polish ramp and chamber for reliablity. Done.

Polishing with some stones Grant suggested made my trigger pull feel better even with an apex FSS.

I have the DCAEK installed in my Shield. However, it feels not as smooth as my wife's Shield. Hers also with the same Apex kit installed. So was wondering about polishing the internals.
