I see lots of vendors listed on the banner. Who do you guys buy from the most in regards to gear and parts for your AR?

Reliable
Good Customer Service

I think most of us probably have a few vendors that we shop around. For me those vendors right now are typically Brownells, G&R Tactical, and Bravo Company USA. I usually order several things at a time and I'll mostly order from whoever has everything I want in stock at that time to put it all in one box.

G&R Tactical

Brownells

Bravo Company

No problems - fast shipping. If an item is not in stock they tell you on the front end (it is on the web site). Nothing worse than being on back order!

BCM - Fast shipper.

GandR - Good as well.

Brownells - Fast and accurate shipping as well.

(some of the sponsors of the site have products with the above mentioned dealers.. magpul, etc)

Ditto! You gotta be careful about the shipping charges, they can eat you up if you don't consolidate orders. I should receive a box in a day or two from Grant at G&R with 6 or 7 items in it.

G&R Tactical. Great selection, great prices and great customer service. If I lived in Ohio, Grant would be my one-stop shop for everything related to firearms. He pretty much already is, but it would be better if I didn't have to deal with the transfers. :)

I'd second:
Bravocompany
G&R
Brownell's

And add:
Denny's Guns/Global Tactical
Adcofirearms
SKD Tactical

Grant (G&R Tactical) is the only one on here that I've dealt with, but he's got everything I want, so I have no need to shop elsewhere. Great to deal with, and his prices can't be beat!

I've had no issues buying from:

Rainier Arms
Legal Transfers/AR15sales.com
Global Tactical Supply
44mags.com
G&R Tactical

I usually end up buying more from places that have Fixed Rate shipping. It's nice to be able to consolidate orders but if I can get a good deal elsewhere, I'll buy from them. I usually have to make multiple orders since one place doesn't always carry everything I need.

I am stationed a Hurlburt in N Florida, I shop for most of my lowers and Firearms/related stuff at the BX on Eglin. Super Cheap, got a Magpul e Guard for 14 and the Full MIAD for 34.00 plus ther is no tax. There are 5 in the US that sell guns and they can order a ton of stuff. I also go to Bravo and soon rainer and Grant for what I can't get. (high end lower/rifles)

aside from the great companies listed already, if you get a chance to use Top Gun Supply, i highly recommend them. Tom runs a great shop. if it's in stock it usually arrives at my house within 3 working days from the day i ordered it.

I am new to the forums and fairly new to the AR world. I am lucky enough to be within a short drive of Grant at G&R Tactical. I have been pleased with my visits there including the friendliness and knowledge. How nice to have a great dealer, armorer, and informant at my disposal. I look forward to purchasing many more items from him.

One thing I like about Brownells is that you can save carts. Whether it be maintenance gear you order regularly, or a wish list, or group by a specific project, or whatever. Oftentimes I'll put together a shopping cart just to find that one or two items are out of stock. Save the cart, and come back from time to time and click on it to find out if everything in the cart is back in stock or not.

I agree whole heartedly with most of the choices here so far.

The vendors who have rewritten the book on customer service and product, for me are:

JTAC (Jason is a very stand-up guy to deal with.)

LaRue (Customer service benchmark for all to follow.)

Magpul (Though I have no need for the Dr. Drake multicam centerfold (whats next, him pouring CLP over his bare chest?), their service and commitment is awesome....and Im sure Drake is a great guy...relax ladies.)

I've bought things from numerous vendors, including some of the ones on this site but the ones I've had the most repeat business and been consistently happy with:

Brownell's, the go to company if they have it in stock

LaRue Tactical- The best customer service and their stuff sets the standard for other companies to follow. Every optic I own sits in a LaRue mount.

Eagle Industries- same as Brownell's, I'll buy from them anytime I can. One of the few companies that you can still get things done with a phone call.

SKD Tactical- right down the road from me, the place to go if I need it yesterday or need to see something in person!

i have built my whole rifle using these 2 website's:

both places are easy to deal with, and have fast shipping, and great customer service.

From the roster of M4C sponsors, I've had flawless dealings with:

G&R Tactical (http://www.gandrtactical.com)
Magpul (http://www.magpul.com/)
Brownell's (http://www.brownells.com/?WT.mc_ID=6036&WT.mc_ev=click)
Bravo Company USA (http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/)
Specter Gear (http://www.spectergear.com/)

Off the grid above, I've been pleased with:

Ammunition to Go (http://ammunitiontogo.com/) (specialty ammo)
Natchez Shooters Supplies (http://www.natchezss.com/) (ammo, Glock mags)
DPMS (http://www.dpmsinc.com/) (NHMTG mags)

I have used over the last several years....

GT distributors - gtdist.com - LE supplier in TX & GA

CDNN - Cdnninvestments.com - kind of a clearing house for discontinued? items- but sells new stuff as well-

Midway-USA- midwayusa.com - they've got just about everything for general firearms - pretty good prices in their sales flyers\emails

GULP- Botach Tactical- horror stories all over the net, but I never had a problem until recently (I knew it was going to happen eventually)

So I've quit them for good but man did they have some killer prices:

I got the 511 navy trenchcoat for $50..talk about looking sharp on a rainy day...

anyway.......

Recently:

Rainier Arms - rainierarms.com- great prices -fast shipping LE discount

G & R Tactical - gandrtactical.com- finalizing first order - waiting on missing portion of order, but great prices, knowledgeable owner

Fidelis Firearms- fidelisfirearms.com - mainly Colt stuff- friendly staff

Gunbroker- gunbroker.com - for those hard to find items....

Denny's/ Global Tactical.

Del-ton.

If these folks don't have it I don't need it. I have tried other companies and I sticking with these. Very nice folks that will do what it takes to fulfill/fix/complete your needs. I even love to call Del_ton and talk to their phone lady. Very nice and always calls me "sweety." She's got to have the best voice in the business. :p Calling Denny's is like talking to your best friend. None of the above companies have that holier than thou attitude that I despise.
