Congratulations.....good choice, and good price as well.

I prefer the M2, and have them in 9 & 40.....

I had a chance to buy one of these in 2011 and decided to pass on it since they had not established themselves quite yet. I've been itching to get one so bad... I doubt I'll miss the Gen 4 17 I traded for it. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/16/suvyrage.jpg

Though it looks a bit awkward with the M3 on it

Get rid of that M3 and get a better light. At least a Streamlight TLR1 or if you can afford it, a Surefire X300 series.

My TLR1 or my X300u does not fit right on my PPQ....

Negative sir. Someone special gave it to me. I have the TLR1 and 3 on my rifles. I don't normally like a light on a pistol so I just use this one and shuffle it around.

Good advice though.

Great looking pistol. Compare the trigger to a Glock? I hear the PPQ is about as good as it gets on a stock striker fired pistol.

Looks like you are a lefty since I did not see a mag release on the left grip.

You'd need to spend a good chunk of change to get a glock trigger this nice... Even then, there is no certainty since the two are so differently designed in how they work. The glock trigger pulls the striker back and releases it (double action). The walther trigger just releases it as the striker is pre-cocked (single action-like). Don't get me wrong, Glock has been my go-to pistol for a long time, but the PPQ trigger makes Glock's trigger seem (how should I put this?) pathetic.

I think a PPS is on my radar now. Oh so slim. :) Considering I had a shield but couldn't like the trigger no matter how hard I tried, the PPS is a no brainer. I'm currently using a Glock 26 for EDC in summer, but would love something slimmer.

I overlooked the PPS several years ago, but with the hot weather down south and usually carrying a P2000SK, I found that often times I would pocket a LCP or 442 in the summer, so I looked at the PPS again. Pretty much the same dimensions as the P2000SK except the width, and that with the reduction in weight as made it a dream to carry. Only difference from the picture is I carry the flush 6-rd mags in the gun instead of the 7-rd as pictured.

I would have gotten the Shield awhile back but the thumb safety was a no-go for me since they didn't have the model without until recently.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the accuracy and overall feel of the PPX, it is one large, accurate pistol. I immediately purchases four additional magazines so I can use it in a formal class. My next Walther will be either a PPS or a CCW,

You'd need to spend a good chunk of change to get a glock trigger this nice...

I have 9 Glocks and 3 PPQs, and in my experience you CANNOT get a Glock trigger as crisp and clean as a stock PPQ trigger. I've done .25 trigger jobs, installed aftermarket trigger units, connectors, springs, etc.etc......

Only 1911 has a trigger in the same class as the PPQ.

JMHO.....YMMV

You left out the rest of what I said... Regardless, it is a subjective matter. Too me, the 1911 is in a class by itself concerning trigger and that's well above any striker fired pistol regardless of action. I'm picking up what you're putting down though.

Grabbed these off of another forum. The soon to be released CCP in the hand and in comparison to the Shield.
