hey guys. Im thinking about building an AR in 50 Beowulf. Looking at the 16" Overmatch Upper Assembly. Wondering which buffer weight to put in this thing. Got a couple DPMS lowers i want to put uppers on. Im new to all this. Just wanna try my luck at putting one together. Any other useful information or suggestions would be appreciated too. thanks

Can anyone answer this? I am also considering a .50 upper and just curious as well.

My buddy has one. It is an Alexander upper on his DPMS lower. He is using a rifle buffer and tube.

Everything works perfect, and it kills hogs with ease.

a .50 cal upper ? consider a LWRC .499LWR, they are not made any more and are hard to find, ammo can be bought from Silver States Armory.

personally i have 4 of them and one is a piston, plus a BFR in .499LWR
