This class is an entry level course for handgun shooters and is designed specifically for those who have not had any formal instruction or those who wish a refresher class. Topics covered include the following: safety, stance, grip, sight alignment and trigger control. Familiarization with their service pistol includes field stripping and maintenance. In addition to this, other topics that are covered include reloads, draw and introduction to different skill drills including dry fire and bullseye shooting.

Cost: $175(10% discount to Mil/LE/EMT/NRA Member). Now accepting credit cards with an additional 3.5% processing fee.

Class size:
Minimum four students
Maximum twelve students

Weapon & Gear Class Requirements:

•Eye & Ear protection (electronic hearing protection is strongly recommended)
•Serviceable handgun- 22lr acceptable provided they are reliable and you have a holster and mag pouch that fit
•Serviceable holster-Strong side belt type preferred -No Blackhawk! Serpa holsters please- If you want to know why feel free to ask.
•Minimum 1 magazine/speedloader pouches to carry your magazines/speedloaders
•Minimum of 3 serviceable magazines (5 is better)
•300 rds of ammo – factory service type (if you run reloads please make sure the ammo is reliable in your weapon)
•Suitable range wear depending on the season- We shoot rain or shine
•Good attitude

this class was great. i definitely learned a bunch of things and have a much better game plan on how to work on getting better moving forward. i highly doubt any of my range time will be as unproductive as it was before taking this class.

As always, Chris delivered great training. This was, I think,the fourth time I've taken this class and each time I learn something new and can see marked improvement.
