Is Larue still top dog in QD? As of right now I have my Razor 1-6 in an ARMS cantilevered QD mount and ever since the day I bought it I wished I would have bought a Laure. What about ADM stuff? I hear good then I hear ADM is inferior. Is all this just in my head?

For the best QD mounts go here: http://www.bobroengineering.com/

They have a latching lever that self adjusts to the rail and doesn't mar it in anyway. They make mounts for various optics. Highly recommended!

Larue is still a great mount, however it is not the only great mount, unlike the situation 10 years ago. ADM mounts have a huge number of options at competitive price points, and all around they are easier to get off, however you will experience some minor zero shift. I would stick with the flip mount from Larue vs. the Swing mount from ADM when it comes to the Magnifiers. Bobros' are nice, but expensive and they have a good reputation for mounts that don't shift zero when you take them off and put them back on.

Here are two seperate tests by the same shooter and same rifle between ADM and BOBRO just to give you an idea:
ADM:

Bobro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpf5v41xt0E&list=UU53XIbcyE0Qk2v-Slfb-89Q

I've yet to find a truly comprehensive review on Larue that uses a similar method as the shooter above. However you can see that the Bobro is proving to be superior to ADM on RTZ between shots.

Bobro is the best right now, I personally prefer the ADM over the LaRue, but both are quality.

If you are not having RTZ shifts, shoot with confidence.
