View Full Version : Looking for hand guard for gas piston AR

I am looking for a free floating hand guard for a gas-piston AR, in the style of the BCM Keymod or Troy Alpha system, I don't need an entire quad rail, just the top. While I can find plenty that will fit a DI gun, I can't tell whether or not they will fit over the piston. Any suggestions?

It really depends on what piston system using.
DD lite works week with Adams arms.
Centurion works on lwrc m6sl
Nothing works well with osprey.

MI original SS series works with most. This is a nice clean tube with top rail and the ability to add sections whereever you like. I'm using one on a CMMG Piston upper (similar to Adams Arms unit). As Buford T. said, there is an SS Series 2 with Quad rail, or the SSK with Keymod.
