could be a fun toy but would ride two wheels first :) then again I used to race big time and have lived on bikes most my life
if I really want to perform give me 4 wheels on the ground

so toy IMHO that is it could see it for someone that has disabilities and can't ride two wheels and wants more open air feeling that side of it could be great for them

I feel like it's missing something....

Oh, wait. A wheel.

Also: At least it's the proper lay-out for a trike. Better than a Reliant Robin.

Why not get what you want?

That guy builds great cars...and even with Caterham USA finally having a dealer network in place...they're still no where near me. Plus, the price point (apples to apples) is nearly double,

I could probably convince HH6 that this would be more utilitarian than a Harley...I mean, I could actually pick up take out or pick up groceries in one of these.

I'm just curious if stability control help make this thing almost as corner friendly as a real car. Just I'll find out in a test drive. If not, I'll just buy a RZR and have fun on the trails.

I priced my build out at under $21K. From the vids I've seen so far the SS corners wonderfully. 0-60 should be around 5 seconds. Basically a Pontiac Quad4 so lots of aftermarket tuning potential. Plenty of dealers across the country. I am in love!

Rode bikes from 1964 till 2008 when I busted my shoulder in two places at work. I can't risk going down on it and losing already limited function. This go cart sounds like more fun than my old Miata - 750 lbs less with 50 more horsepower! Fall release is a bummer. Oh well, plenty of time to save up.

I didn't look at the prices.

Here's what I don't get, on my motorcycle I'm more exposed to danger and of course the weather for the ability to lean if I'm going to sit in a seat and use a steering wheel why not have a wind shield and the option for all weather protection?

I included the windshield in my build, but it is more like a deflector.the aftermarket will soon jump in to meet demand for taller shield, rain top etc if Polaris doesn't. With the roll bars and exposed frame tubing plenty of attach points available.

After a day for the fever to subside I've realized I don't want to spend that much on something I can't let 95% of my friends and fam drive for lack of cycle endorsement. At my age the most fun aspect of toys is sharing them.

Yeah, for that money you could make a used Miata really fun.

I enjoyed my black 1995 Miata for years. In my retirement I'm working through a bucket list of vehicles I always wanted. Currently have a 2000 Land Cruiser that I love dearly. But she's a pig in the corners.

Or a lightly used Honda S2000 for that matter.

Still, I think Polaris is on to something here.

If someone else could drive with a motorcycle licensed passenger...

Just curious about the license issue. if the Cam Am spyder doesn't need a motorcycle license why does this need one.

Can Am requires motorcycle license in MN. May vary by state.

One of my favorite Top Gear segments ever.

One of my favorite Top Gear segments ever.

I'm fond of the follow-up segment where they had the Stig drive one around the track for time.

I say they had him drive it, I really mean they attempted to have him drive it - the Reliant didn't make it around the first corner before rolling.

One of the few things that I still admire about England is what you can buy and drive: one of these, a Caterham, a LR Defender 90, etc.

Over here? Forget it. Not safe enough.

But you can buy and ride a motorcycle any day of the week. Absurd.

I'd rather have a Robin. With a decent cage. And solid insurance. And good harnesses. And spare body panels. Oh that adds up quick.
