Has anyone done the drop in barrel and G19 mag conversion? If so have you run into any problems? Thanks for any info

I have one of the Lone Wolf 9mm Conversion (http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=4279) barrels and it's awesome. Every once in a while I'll run into a failure to eject because the ejector on the G23/32 is different (straight) than the curved ejector in the 9mms but most of the time it runs like a champ and is accurate as hell. You'll just need one of those barrels and a few G19 magazines and you'll be all set!

Edited to add: I see that Lone Wolf is out but I think www.topgunsupply.com (http://www.topgunsupply.com) might have them in stock.

Thanks. Do you think it would be worth the effort to switch out the ejector if I plan to only run 9mm in the gun?

Yes but you'll need to replace the Trigger Housing unit because you can't replace just the ejector. It's #22 on this Schematic: HERE (http://www.lonewolfdist.com/schematic.aspx).

Just make sure you buy a 9mm trigger housing.

However, I'm not sure if I would carry or use this configuration for personal defense. While I've never had a problem with any of the Lone Wolf barrels I've owned they are made with tighter dimensions than an OEM barrel and as such could be more finicky. I would run 500+ rounds through it in this configuration before I decided what to do.

One more thing, the Extractor for the 9mm is different as well so if you do decide to run this configuration for CCW or home defense you should probably swap out the extractor as well.

I've been wondering about this myself for quite a while. I think I'll get one and try it out.

If you just want one for plinking and cheaper practice you'll only need a LW barrel and some G19 magazines and you'll be good to go.
