SMC 1" Light Mount-N-Slot and Surefire G2X Tactical light

Looking for a light and mount for my colt MOE budget 100 dollars .
This looks like a good mount it keeps the light close to the barrel ( so it seems)
Search shows all old post (favorable) Is this a ok option or are there better ?

Never used that combo, but IWC is good to go, and the Surefire G2X does fine as a weapon light despite not being labeled as such.

I think it's the best light and mount combo fit that handguard. Also, the TMC (made for the regular M4 handguard) is excellent as well. It's a GREAT budget minded setup. Not everyone can afford rails and surefire scouts with a keymod mount, or regular offset mount. Money saved = more ammo, more shooting, more training.

It's rock solid, cheap and after 1k rounds still works perfect. Only drawback is if you upgrade handguards your stuck with the mount.
