Picked this Kokura arsenal 25th series type 99 up at a show recently. The rifle itself is a pretty typical "last ditch" rifle, known to the japanese as a "substitute type 99 " and were made as simple as possible without seriously compromising its purpose as an infantry rifle. Contrary to popular opinion, these arent dangerous to shoot, as long as its in half decent shape of course. I bought this one for the cool painted stock markings, not uncommon but certainly make it standout. Numbers are al matching, the mum is ground.278422784327844
