I'm knew the the M4 game and i just ordered a bushmaser o.r.c. and i'll be ordering a RRA varmit A4.
for my carbine i want a rail system. I'm looking at a 10" model cause i want it to go over the gas block. i don't know for sure if i need to replace the gas block the that's on the gun now or not. i thought i may be able to remove the sling swivel and put the rail over it. i don't know for sure.
how are the Midwest Industries and the Yankee hill? i know they are cheeper but the the cost of the Troy worth it?
any help?
also has anybody ever put a laser/light combo on their AR forarm? i was thinking of doing the "pistol" version because it's more cost effective compared to seperate components. do you think it would hold up? I think it would take less of a beating on an AR then it would on say a .45 and be nice handy and compact without worrying about wires and such.
