Has anyone seen the movie The Hornet's Nest? From what I remember it was supposed to be the sequal to the movie Restrepo which i really liked. It was shown in theaters but not any near me.

You might ask some of these folks:

I have not picked up a copy yet. I need to do that.
Korengal is Part 2 to Restrepo and The Hornets Nest is about a British Unit or Dutch Unit in Afghan
I recommend them both
Hornet's Nest is a doc featuring 2/327 INF, 1BCT, 101ABN(AASLT). Armadillo is a doc about Danish soldiers.
Is it scheduled to be available on DVD or online?

I saw it at the the local Theatre.
As a retired Senior NCO I found it deeply disturbing.
It's about both an army infantry unit and a short stint with a marine infantry unit. I thought it was actually more centered around the reunion and reconnection of a father and son (the journalists) with the war as a background/canvas. I thought it left much to be desired. Worth a watch on dvd eventually? Sure. Worth paying $12 to see in a theater? No.
Restrepo is the story of a unit. Hornets nest is a story of journalists with family issues in war.
