Good for them, I hope it finds its way into the British homes.

What difference would it make? Aren't they verboten to defend themselves? If they can't defend themselves in the first place who cares what firearms they can bypass a law with.

Interesting but not as interesting as the Troy pump AR.

+1 good for them. Its sad they have to do this. Just as its sad we have to create things like bullet buttons, NY stock kits, sig brace ect.. but at least there are innovators.

Even if they are permitted to posses this, the many onerous requirements involved will deter all but the most determined & persistent and confiscation is a constantly looming threat.

Sooo...if you hold down the release lever, does it function like a semi? Would love to see this in California!

I wondered this as well and figured there's a reverse lever inside under the carrier that is forced when the rifle is fired and the carrier moves into the receiver extension that 'forces' a reset. Honestly have no idea though and would be nice you could simply keep the bolt release held down for complete semi auto function. No idea on how legal that is over there though.

I was thinking the same thing.

Good on them. I like the easily removable handguard, and piston system.

Probably not, I assume. That would be too easy. There is probably some type of reset required to allow for the next shot.

I think this is actually quite an ingenious work around of Britain's restrictive gun laws. I am glad to see such innovation is alive and well in the UK and that there are like-minded shooters over there looking to give their nanny state government a symbolic middle finger. I bet these would sell well in CA, NY, and NJ.

Definitely a "now why didn't I think of that?" moment. Geez.

And it certainly has implications over here to, what with the way certain areas regulate semi autos differently.

Hope this can catch on over here for our friends behind enemy lines in restricted states. As for the British, meh #%* em my family is Irish... Just kidding :p

I would love to see someone bring a detachable mag version of this with a FH and bayo lug to a range in NJ just to ruffle some feathers.

Do what you gotta do Brits!
I hate that we all have to do these "work-arounds" but I like when people come up with them.

That's awesome, given the insane, childish laws they are constrained by. Kudos to whoever came up with this.

Yes it is sad they something like this has to be invented but sometimes you
have to do the best with what your given and think outside the box. In that
regard... well done. Something is better than nothing. I'm sure you'll have
brits who will actually get good with this thing and make it quite the extension
of their bodies.
