Federal HST 9mm

Hello, Can anyone confirm if Federal makes a HST loading in +P?

All I can seem to find is their HST under product code P9HST1S, which is not +P according to the packaging. I did not open up a box to check the head stamping, this would ruin the packaging and do not wish to make it harder to sell for the LGS.

Additionally, I do not see anything on the a Federal website indicating that the HST comes in +P.

They do. I have seen the 124gr and 147gr in +p. I've only seen it in the 50 round boxes.

My pd issues 147gr +p for 9mm.

I think he model you referenced is the commercial retail product. I don't think it's different it it comes as a 20 round box in 124 only I think.

The "tactical" line doesn't have the "s" at the end of the product number, loads are number p9hst# (1-4). They come in 50 round boxes for $30-35 depending on vendor.

There is some performance gain in the extra velocity with the +P 124. Stick with the standard pressure 147.
