A friend of mine sent this one to me and I got a kick out of it. Man that thing has been used !! Think a little CLP will take care of that ?
Kind of reminds me of some of the training rifles at Ft. Benning back in the day :)

does the can still thread on and off? if yes, why clean it? If not, clean it up.
I just cleaned the threads on mine on my 300BLK upper because the can was getting stuck from so much carbon buildup. Little dremel wire wheel cleaned it up nice.
THAT is called "Patina". Never, ever remove it. It will devalue the weapon by hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Geez guys, haven't you all watched "Antique Roadshow"? :sarcastic:
