Maureen Dowd is one of those liberals who occasionally gets it right. Think of her as the NYT's broken clock.

Not even HALF of the flak that Bush (41) took when he played golf during the Persian Gulf War. The "satire" tone of the NY Times article relegates the issues raised to mild criticism.

Of course I'd still rather have Obama playing golf than sitting at his desk.
