Added a Colt to the stable

I just bought my first AR-15 and I could not be happier. I found a Colt Match Target model with a 20" barrel at my local gun shop. It is in excellent condition and I got a decent deal on it. The only thing it is missing is a flash suppressor. It's out right now having the barrel threaded (and I think I am experiencing seperation anxiety :( ) and then it should be good to go. I tried to post some pics but my computer illiteracy prevents it at this time.

Way to go on your purchase! My first AR-15 was the Match HBAR and I loved it! Talk about "separation anxiety," I'm sorely missing that Colt since selling it! :(

My first Colt was an m-16 my Uncle loaned me. My second was an AR-15 HBAR.
Congrats on the purchase. Fun times.

I have the same rifle (MT6601).

of course I've added the FH but I've also replaced the FSB for one with bayo lug. :cool:


I'd stongly suggest you to get rid of the crappy plastic buffer if your rifle came with one of those ;)
