My first venture into Steyr territory. Fits the hand nicely and seems well made, but the trapezoidal sights take some adjustment. Has Steyr's "Mannox" finish, which I'm guessing is similar to Glock's "Tenifer"?

Also has the ability to lock out the trigger with a special two-prong key. Brought back memories of Remington's old "J-Lock" system.

This gun was evidently designed by Wilhelm Bubits, who was originally on the Glock design team. Rumor/legend has it that this gun was proposed by Bubits as the next generation Glock, but when Glock declined to go with this design he took his ideas to Steyr.

Heck of a grip, nice design, but I ditched mine because of a broken striker and a trigger that didn't want to settle into a decently consistent break. I hear they are better now.
