I just got mine and I'm fairly certain I installed it correctly. AFAIK re: installation, the bottom half of the rail has the same pattern cut-out on the end as the barrel nut and you align the grooves, push the rail back and after it clears the barrel nut's grooves, you twist to seat the lower part of the rail. My concern is that, what if you're torqing/twisting the rail while shooting/running it hard, is there a chance that you realign the grooves and holes and pull the rail off? Hope that makes sense. If you've installed one I think you can picture what I mean..
