Barrett Rec7, price?

I'm relatively new to this site, been a member for a few weeks. I have a couple questions, does anyone know the price for a Barrett Rec7 and is on the civilian market. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is one on the shelf at a local gunstore here. $2K+ IIRC. I thought it was way overpriced.
