Quality Standard specs?

About to get into a pissin' contest on TOS (I'm bored at work.), and forthe life of me I can't remember what the QC specs standards is called. Basically the one that Paul Buffoni of BCM, Colt, etc... follow when they make their setups and specifies steel type, etc...

Anyone help me with my brain fart?

"TM" or sometimes "TDM" ?? Don't ask me what it stands for. I just was told recently, but cannot remember myself. I swear I have actually seen a THIRD abbreviated term, but cannot remember it for the life of me.
