So this girl wanted to go see an event with me that I can get discounted tickets to, and paid me her half today. She bought a pack of Tootsie rolls and swapped about 50% of the candy out with rolled up ones and fives.

Then she taped fifty ones together and stuffed them into a tissue paper box.

It took me about an hour to unwrap them all and her card said "The tissues are for babies who aren't man enough to take a girl out the right way." She thinks because it's a date I should pay in full.
Woman, it's 2014 and you make more than I do...

First rule of women. Every last one of them is crazy, if I am being extremely charitable. The question is how much crazy can you deal with?
Not knowing the girl, I can't say where on the crazy bitch scale she falls, but I wouldn't be ranking her in a position of one who I'd want to do more than wave to through thick bulletproof glass going by this stunt(and that is saying something going by some of the girls I've known), and I've known a few girls who were card carrying ****ing psycho bitches who you were afraid of sleeping with because they might decide to try to chew your dick off. Would try to confirm stunt was not I want to play stunt, and not a bitch stunt before writing her off as crazy pussy, but might make sure I am well arms before asking said question.
So she's using you for discounted tickets and is mad that you won't fully pay her way? When she's the one who wanted to go? What an entitled POS.

It's a long story, but yeah I asked her to go. However she has known me for years and knows that I don't pay. Only suckers pay.

I guess it would depend on the attitude behind the card, then, so you'll have to judge that part. If she's known you for a long time, she just might be messing with you. I could totally see doing this to a friend just to break balls.

This. She is crazy and you know it. The amount of time it took to do that should tell you how crazy she is. Not worth it man.
If you've known her for years, and she knows you don't pay, she's probably just messing with you. If there is anything there, and you flip out over this, there probably won't be. Tread softly, see her again, and get a feel for the intent behind it. Then decide how to proceed.

It's either a date or it aint, She made her intentions pretty clear that She thought this was a relationship and you needed to step up and do the right thing if that's what you want.
It's kind of clear, at least to me; that She's a bit more emotionally in tune with this being a relationship, not a sex thing.
Irregardless of what your salaries are this is the kind of thing a gentleman pays for.
