Leupold Var-x III 1.5-5x

I'm selling my Leupold Vari-x III 1.5-5x (standard duplex reticle). I had it on my AR for a couple years, but ever since I got an Aimpoint it has just sat in the closet collecting dust. I have it mounted in a Nikon M-223 one piece mount. Everything about the scope is perfect with the exception of two minor surface scratches (visible in the second picture).

The optic retails for $500 and the mount sells for $65, but I'd be willing to take $425+ shipping for the package. I'm also looking to get a larger scope (at least 40mm objective lens and 10x) for my bolt gun, so if you have anything that fits I'd love to see it.
