Looking at picking up a BCM 18" w/ 15" KMR whenever it becomes available. I'd like to suppress this either with my M42000 or 762SD. It will be using a standard A2 receiver extension and stock.

I have tons of experience with suppressed SBRs and carbines, but I have never used a can on a rifle. How is the gas blowback and recoil impulse? With the A5 in my SBR it handles it pretty well. Do they make heavier rifle buffers? Do I need one?

I ran my can on a 20" HBAR before. You should be fine with the standard Rifle buffer. Mine ran fine.

No issues out of my SPR with A5 and SPR-M4 can. Smooth shooting SOB.

I'm running my M4-2000 on an 18", rifle-length gas barrel and it runs great with a standard rifle buffer / spring combo. Very smooth shooting rifle.

Gas blowback is similarly minimal to that of my 10.3" SBR with the Syrac GB running the same can.

Unrealistic expectations of smoothness? That's all I can complain about on my 18" Mk12 barreled setup.

Mine runs like a champ, no issues with standard rifle buffer and an M42K

Sounds like it will run without issue. BCM needs to get on the ball with these 15" KMRs!

No issues, I shoot Prairie dogs and coyotes with my 20" SDM rifle and a KAC NT4.
