This stuff is reasonably priced at Wideners and elsewhere.

Anybody shoot any? Any chrono results? I'm particularly interested in whether it's a bit hotter than standard white-box stuff.

Is this the 9mm made specifically for the UZI and/or other auto rifles?

https://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm?item_id=100001880&dir=18|829|837No, this is just pistol ammo, not the sub-gun "blacktip" stuff.

Looks like some good stuff to me.

To me it feels snappier, though on paper it's not a hotter round than other range fodder. The velocity is given as 1100 fps at 5.4 yards out of a 4" barrel. American Eagle lists their 124 at 1150 at the muzzle, but I've shot a bit of it lately, and it doesn't feel as snappy as the IMI.

It's not bad ammo, though, and it seems relatively consistent. It does have sealed primers.

How do you intend to use the ammo?

If you are just looking for good ammo for range, practice, etc. you don't need to spend this much on 9mm.

Freedom Munitions puts out good ammo and they are offering free shipping on/off again. Weidners sticks it to you on shipping charges.

I would take a look at this thread before buying.

Freedom munitions has had problems reported all over recently. You can usually find factory new ammo for a few cents more per round. I would never use freedom after the problems I have seen from them even if it was free.

Bypass on the Freedom, groups horrible even for practice ammo. Jack Ross is priced comparably and is more consistent IMO.

I have not noticed any high volume of complaints, a few here and there. The stuff works fine, groups fine and is a good choice for practice ammo.

Thanks for the replies.

In the near future, I plan on taking a bunch of different 9mm ammo to the range and running some over the chrono. I'm already hustling handfuls of different stuff from friends, to provide more test fodder. I'll post the results.

You can get Geco 124gr FMJ for the same price and it is known to be pretty much as good as it gets. I have no double that the IMI is good also.

I shot some of the IMI today. Nice stuff. I didn't chrono it, but it felt as brisk as Winchester Q4318 "Nato" 124, and somewhat hotter than American Eagle 115. Definitely not hot like +p Corbon or something.

Sometime soon I'm going to break out the Hi-Power and chrono a bunch of 9mm loads. I'll post a report.

Apologies for the slight thread derailment. Anyone have this that has also shot the Sadu (Romanian) stuff? It claims to be NATOpressure as well, sealed primers and shoots well out of my Sig. Supply seems to have dried up, however. Looking for a decent replacement. I saw the IMI stuff but the price is keeping me back.

Good ammo, grouped well from an M&P 9 fullsize & Shield. Hotter then AE or WWB 9mm. Not as hot as my GD 124 +P but you still notice it.

Try Geco 124gr FMJ. It's excellent quality and loaded to the slightly hotter European specs. Aim Surplus has it for $11.95/box plus shipping.

Well I pulled the trigger on the IMI 124gr and ordered 2000 rounds and 1000 rounds of the 115 JHP. I took 200 rounds of each to the range today and did function tests on all my 9mm handguns. DAM it is some GOOD shit!!!!!! Like Uni-Vibe said it feels as hot as the WIN Nato round and Accurate......
I am very pleased with both loads and hope to get 2-3 more cases in the spring.
