Thought this might be of interest for anyone that might have questions on what to look for when buying older used Glocks.

I thought all Glocks were "good to go" and didn't need any replacement parts. They just "work".... right ? not at all like those junky 1911's.

That's an interesting read. YMMV apparently as across the board I've preferred the newer guns but I have an easy out here for buying any used Glock with a price too good to pass up. I drive 40 min over to the Smyrna plant and have them upgrade it all for free. ;)

The only thing I've noticed with some trade in Glocks is they don't come with magazines and boxes and are still around the $400 mark. Not much of a bargain at that price.
