OK fellas, I got my KAC Scout Light mount in today from Boltcarrier.com. Two things jumped out immediately.
1) The KAC mount is by far the lowest profile option out there. It's very well made and clears the KMR in all positions. Score!
2) The KMR and urx4 designs allow extreme flexibility when choosing mount positions. This is part of the reason that I waited for these 7 sided keymod rails to come out before getting a KM rail.

I've got to get the light mounted and all the screws loctited tonight, but I'm very impressed so far. One note, the screws on the KAC Scout Light mount are NOT staked. I beleive this is by design so that you can orient the mount in any position and can turn the feet of the nut in either direction depending on where you want the mount. KAC knocked it out of the park.

It clears the screw for the MBUS Pro in the front most position. The two positions rearward cause the light body to contact the sight. The mount was obviously designed to pull the light in as tight as possible to the rail. I may see if the KAC micro will clear the light when positioned a little further back.

Just barely clears the sight, but no contact.

That's pretty slick. What other mounts are you comparing it to when you say its the lowest profile? I'm curious about both the Noveske and MI.

I'm thinking about not just the light position, but also the footprint and design of the mount itself. The Noveske looks pretty tight fitting as well. What I see as the biggest advantage of this mount is the versatility it offers. You can basically mount the light in line with all 7 keymod rails.

Just FYI, the #2-3 keys won't work with the mini in the 11 & 1 o'clock position. The head of the light contacts the front sight. Same goes for the KAC micro & MBUS Pro. If you mount it anywhere else, you're good to go. The only other option is to use a mount with more standoff. Downside: the light sticks out further. As it is, the #1 position is perfect for my hand placement. I'm really impressed with the versatility of this mount. You can basically mount the light in line with every flat on the rail.

They are in stock in the Knight's web store: http://shop.knightarmco.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=KM31232. I ordered one earlier today.

Small update. I swapped my mini Scout on a KAC mount over to the left side and back to the #3&4 slots so that it is even with the end of the rail. It just barely clears the MBUS Pro, but it doesn't touch. There's enough space to see daylight and slip a business card between the light & front sight.
