This guy had a do-over on Tosh.0 several years ago and nailed the back flip. It's that old.

Don't have cable or TV. Buddy from Jr. High posted this on FB the other day and it made me think of Steyrs Vintage Nunchaku page.

Some how it being old to some didn't stop me from ROTFLMFAO.

Some of those 12 year olds were serious business. But eventually I prevailed in the end.

Solid and well done.

Yep. Some of those mid 20s guys think dudes 20 years their senior and up have no game left.
Just cause you get a couple of grays, start to need reading glasses, and the six pack is gone.

Then you do more muscle ups than them, bench 350 with no spot or lift off, or something,-
and you are now reverently called the "silverback" or the guy with "crazy old man strength."

God I would love the energy, flexibility, metabolism of then with the knowledge and experience of now though. The recovery from new injuries and the cumulative effects of old ones ...

It's always nice to see when training, equipment and mindset all merge as one......

But seriously, I would still be waiting for the radiologist to finish shaking his head in disbelief, if I had tried that.

Nice fro, but not much of a chin...
Person 1- Are you alright
Person 2- No he is not.
What he gets for that smarty-snarl he begins his badness with.

No, but it is the perfect way to knock yourself out!

To make things worse, he wasn't even using real nunchaku. Black foam padded practice chucks.

Of course he is; look at the carnage he caused with a simple back flip. Imagine the beat down he would have given himself with real 'chucks!

Here's an even sloppier effort.

For some reason the moment I turn on a camera I lose 10 years worth of ability. But I did manage a correct single end catch at the end. That can be tricky to do without getting a face full of weapon.

Steyr is the reason such bastions of justice like California, New York, et al. have passed laws prohibiting sticks tied together with rope and or chain!

I can't help but to imagine the horror some home invader would face breaking into Steyr's lair . . .

If ever I decided to go "old school" on a home invader, it would certainly be with a katana. I hate to think how much shit I'd destroy opening up with a three sectional indoors, and I've seen way too much "Shogun Assassin."

I'm not one of those guys who really looks forward to a shooting opportunity or fantasizes about shooting intruders, but somewhere in the back of my brain is a small part that would love to go "full tilt" and see the results of 35 years of kenjutsu training.
