Hello,
quite new here and new to ARs in general.
I bought a case of Federal XM193BK 5.56 from Palmetto recently and Im having light strikes (about 3-4 per magazine).
My rifle is PWS mk116, I got it used in like new condition. Previous owner added UBR stock and installed very heavy buffer with it.
Is it the ammo or I need a lighter buffer?

Buffer should have nothing to do with light primer strikes. What trigger is in your lower? Are springs installed correctly? Does this lower work with other ammo, or is this the first time you've used it?
Any cycling problems on cartridges that do fire?

lower has ALG trigger that comes standard on PWS rifles. No cycling issues with other rounds, all ejected fine. It was indeed first time I tried it.

Check hammer spring. Previous owner might have swapped out spring an forgot to mention. Esp. If they are yellow, then they are JP springs, and will give light primer strikes with mil spec ammo... Don't ask how I know.

Look at the springs in this link. Is this how your springs look?
