Anyone ever seen one of these pimped-out Glocks?

They couldn't change out the garbage stock sights?

This can be yours for the low, low price of $999.

I don't dislike Glocks, but I feel this falls firmly under the category of: Fecal matter, polished and gilded.

I briefly had a Glock 19 EXO model with the Fail-Zero Nickel Boron coating on it that Talo was involved in. Some of them also shipped with a set of Ameriglo Pro I-Dot sights. Local shop had it for about 40 dollars more than a bone stock Glock 19, so I felt it was worth the price for the sights if nothing else.

The one pictured in the link looks ridiculous, especially with the plastic sights still on it.

Anything I pay extra for, over a stock gun, better drop my splits.

That's about all I gotta say about that.

Man, that's really a...

waste of money. I don't get the jeweling, polishing and, damn, gold inlay.

On a glock?

I agree!

A "Larry Flint" commemorative I could understand. :)

If you're into that kinda thing, guess it's OK. Kinda lipstic on a pig to my eyes.

Love my glock but would not be caught with one of those.

I actually wouldn't mind owning this if the work was well done

Just what I want, a gun with a slide that's polished till it's slicker than deer guts on a door knob. Only way it could be worse is if it were on a Baby Desert Eagle/CZ. That tiny slide is tough enough already to get ahold of.

I know a guy who buys & collects all these "special edition" type guns. Some are down right awful others are works of art, Sig 226 limited engraved edition comes to mind. None of his collection has ever been fired and I think he has only two or three "shooting" guns..to each his own. BTW He's big 2nd Amendment supporter with big donations to all 2nd A/shooting causes...

I think everyone should take a moment to hug their Glocks a little tighter tonight, tell them you love them, and be glad you raised them right.

Yeah... I also nabbed a G19 and G23 with EXO when they surfaced (briefly) here in CA.

They are a bit more... utilitarian... in the approach though... and the included I-dot Pro sights are very good. The only nit I have with these EXO Glocks is that they did not actually take the time/expense to coat the internal parts or guides... only the slide and barrel are coated, so the "self-lubricating" feature of the FailZero coating is minimal, at best. The two-tone is nice for those who dig that kinda thing... it's a matte finish, so not all blinged out like the one in the OP. lol.

Wish I never opened this post... now it's going to take me at least two hours to clean all the puke off my computer.

Yes, that's exactly the model I had.

I wasn't all the impressed with the finish to be honest. After around a year of wearing it everyday, the finish start to show lots of little spots of discoloration. Perhaps my example just had poor prep before application, who knows.
