My friend and I thought it would be a good idea to combine his NFA Registered Full Auto Lower with my 10.5" .50 Beowulf SBR upper..Here are the results :D

Full auto 50 Beowulf... You never go full retard! Just Kidding, bet it was hard to manage recoil on that ride. How'd the shoulder feel the next day?

Nice!

Aren't that puppies around $2-3 a round?

If he can afford a FA lower then I don't think $60 dollars worth of ammo is that big of a concern.

The AR 18 is really more interesting to me though. Still need. Awesome flash, lol.

Hi yall..thanx for commenting. The shoulder is good and not too busted up and the recoil is a bitch to control...The Registered full auto lower belongs to my friend..i just brought the upper and the ammo..The ammo costs around $25 per box of 20rounds..No big deal i bought 4 cases of it ..the AR18 was also alot of fun to shoot..some classic full auto goodness

Holy muzzle flash batman! That was sweet, though! How does the .50 do out of a 10.5? I'm sure its still puttin down a lot of energy downrange but how is the accuracy?

Thanx for looking at my video..the 10.5" barrel is still very accurate at 100yards ..energy levels are right around 2400-2500lbs at the muzzle ..ive only lost about 120fps after cutting down the barrel

Nice! I love how much fire it was breathing. My buddy just got a .50 upper, but we don't have access to a RR.

glad you liked it..if you ever have access to full auto lower..it is something you should try at least once

Talk about having to use an aggressive stance! The .50 really puts the AR platform into perspective, especially contracted against the AR18.

Thanks for sharing

I'm going to find somebody with a FA lower one day and try it. Mine is the 16.5" barrel with the tank brake, so it may be a little more manageable on full auto.

I thought about either going SBR with it, or cutting it down to ~13.5" and perm attaching the brake. Then I realized I'd also have to pay for gas port relocation and contouring the barrel for the gas block. Since I have no plans to suppress it, I'm just leaving it as is. Who knows...maybe file the F1 anyway and then just buy the 12" upper AA offers.

If you ever go full auto with yours at your length of barrel plus your brake..you should deffinately have alot more control than i did..nice looking gun by the way

That's great for......I cannot think what this would defend well against in real life. Unless an army of engine blocks attacked.

Keep telling yourself that until the Decepticons attack and the world realizes Shia LaBeouf sucks and can't save us.

Very true, I rely way too heavily on Shia.

Completely non-NFA related...but his interview on Kimmel last night was hilarious. Here (http://youtu.be/jtAkNf_b_TM) is his story of being arrested if you have ~8min to spare.

Even so the round seems perfect for close range fighting, with practice it would probably easier to fire. My squad practiced shoulder firing a M240 during an Ammo dump in UAE, and we were able to be point of badguy accurate lol

Then it sounds like im gonna need about $300 more worth of ammo and more trigger time on that bad boy :)

I really need to build an upper in .50 Beowulf. Just to play around. I'm a recoil junkie, so I need this.

Looks very cool, maybe unusable with the recoil, but ill give it a shot...

Had the pleasure of handling a 240b, mounted and not. It is one of the most awesome beltfed weapons I have ever shot. Accurate and kept going. Would not quit, the bastard just shot and kept shooting.

The upside is that at close quarters, even if you miss you might set the guy on fire....
