I am looking for a way to mount a pair of Sordin Supreme Pro-X to my ops core helmet. Wearing headband mounted ones under your helmet is NOT comfy.
I see there are a few products out there that work with the Team Wendy helmet but I dont know if it will mount up to the Ops core Fast helmet.

I watched this (http://ironforgedconcepts.com/?project=installation) install video but I still need to know what parts exactly to buy.

I am a little confused so help me out. From my understanding of the video I will need the Peltor Helmet Rail Adapters and the Sordin ARC Rail Adapter. Is this correct? and are they helmet specific?

Links to the products would be nice.

Thanks

After doing more research on this topic would one recommend to go with a new set of MSA pro-x with the neck band where you can wear them under the helmet?

I have never used the neck band style mount so I do not know if they are more comfortable than the headband mount (obviously it would be under a helmet) but for regular range use without using my helmet.

The advantage I can see with purchasing a neckband set is I could use them for range use and under the helmet where as if I modify the headband for helmet use only I would only be able to use it with my NV setup and not during range use.

If I were looking for answers to the first question about which mounts are required, I'd probably shoot an email to the guys at TNVC. And...I'd post the response here since I'm curious.

I was issued the behind the neck version of the TCI Liberators and they caused immediate headaches for me and several others. We went to the ARC Rails, Peltor arms, and Iron Forged Concepts SARAs for helmet mounting of the TCIs. You'll enjoy it. The only downside is that you will need a second set of ear pro when a helmet is not needed. Worth it though.

You'll need:
http://srstactical.com/peltor-arc-adaptors-left-and-right-side-attachment-kit.html
http://tnvc.com/shop/sara-sordin-arc-rail-adapter-gen2/

Follow the vid, go slow, and allow 45-60 minutes.

the neck band style is not compatible with the OPS-Core OCC-dial. you can wear the helmet pretty comfortably over the headband version if you make a space between the pads for the headband to sit in. also, remove the small side pads from the helmet.

I emailed TNVC and they recommended NOT to buy the neckband version.

They said the parts to convert my handband ear muffs would be:

http://tnvc.com/shop/crye-precision-airframe-peltor-adapter-set/

http://tnvc.com/shop/team-wendy-exfil-peltor-comtac-adapter/

http://tnvc.com/shop/sara-sordin-arc-rail-adapter-gen2/

Looks like I will just convert the pair I own. Thanks for the info and not letting me buy the neckband ones and having an inferior product.

+1 to what military moron said...I adjusted the pads and have no issues. I wanted to try the arc rail adapters, but seemed like it would impact on my mounted white light and IR on the others side. I did pick up the arc rail mounts for my eye pro though, which for me works well.
