After learning how to use a tomahawk to chop wood, bust up cinder blocks, break open padlocks and open 55 gallon drums, what challenge is there left for the experienced woodsman? How does the modern Dan'l Boone take his skills to the next level?

Why, he learns how to build the All American rifle, the AR, using only his wits, ingenuity, skill and of course, his trusty tomahawk!

I wouldn't call it the worst multitool ever but they better funnel a good bit of their earnings into legal representation. Chopping off a finger with a blade is one thing. Splitting your forearm in two because of a slip of the barrel nut wrench is something else.

Exactly, Scat. Not the brightest idea..

That is pretty funny. If someone hurts themselves using this to build an AR, then natural selection has done its job.

I read the title and was extremely disappointed when I saw the thread. I was hoping it was something like the guy that built an AK out of a shovel...

That is so true.

It is kind of cool.....I would never use it as a tool, but is would be cool to have just because.

This is perfect for all the zombie apocalypse preppers to keep in their bug out bags so they can kill zombies with it, but ALSO have a tool to assemble ARs out of AR parts they find laying around when the world ends :-)

I was on the fence until I saw it had a bottle opener. Shut up and take my money!

If a world ever exists where I need to build ARs with a tomahawk in order to survive, I'm offing myself. :suicide:

How to sever your flexor tendons because you slip tightening your castle nut...

Thought the same thing.

Agreed that zombie doomsday fans are probably clamoring all over this. Good for a chuckle though.

I used to have a fairly high opinion of DSA. Not so much after this ...

I didn't click the link until you mentioned this... so sad.

I hope it was like... they owner's 12 year old son's idea, and he made it for him so he could have his own item to sell. What a nice dad!
(Yeah... that's what I'm going to make myself believe...)

My opinion of DSA actually went up. But maybe I'm just weird.

I actually needed to buy a bottle opener, not sure if the wife would think an $85 bottle opener is a good move, or not.

You might let us know how that turns out for you.

I like tomahawks so I'm gonna have to take this one for a test drive. I doubt if I'd go into combat with this one but it would make a nice addition to the bar/workshop area.

Once again we find the intersection of people asking "can I" without asking "should I"....
